From September 15 to November 15, my painting We Come in All Shapes and Sizes is in this online exhibit. You can view my piece here. (The site is slow to load, so give it a minute.) There are more than 70 artists included in the exhibit, so lots to look at. You can also view this piece here on my website. It's part of my “Flowers From My Childhood” collection.
Growing up in California’s San Benancio Valley, I developed an early appreciation for nature through long walks among fields of wild poppies and lupines. Being outdoors was my happy place; my safe place. These formative experiences inform my work. Here, in a tangle of wild growth, we find purple foxgloves and pink lupines, white daisies and orange posies, all in different sizes. All our different shapes and sizes are beautiful together when we allow ourselves to see them!
